Two years ago I went to one of the local Uni and found some interesting VHS tapes explaining how the mathematical relation of the Peceptron is calculated and set up in a NN sofware. This is why cosinus and sinus are used in the NN software. Now I can't find this video again. Would anyone know if there are quicktime clips or video or ebooks or books which would explain why suinus and cosinus are used in the mathmatics of a NN? I believe this helped me to understand what data is required and how the data should be presented to a NN. Please help tdnn
